Max Hocking Fun Day 2012

Crantock

The Max Hocking Fun Day was held last Sunday at Crantock, despite the damp conditions in the morning approximately 400 Nippers turned up from 11 Cornish Surf Life Saving Clubs. The sea conditions were ideal for Nippers encouraging all the younger ones to take part and we had a fantastic response from the clubs supplying safety cover. Wading, board racing and relay events were contested in the morning followed by a marathon flag event after lunch.

Many thanks to Crantock SLSC, all the team managers and coaches who helped out and everyone who provided safety cover.

The next event for nippers will be the Cornish Nipper Champs at Carbis Bay on the 21st/22nd July 2012.
